Black Swan

I never thought faith would be good to me answering one of my wishes. If you’re able to read my post about “Once Upon a Dream”, you have now the idea on what it is.

To acknowledge the vital role that teachers play in molding the minds of the youth, the Government of Tagum and Department of Education TC held the 1st Educators Appreciation Night last December 13 at Big 8 Hotel, Tagum City. I never had any memorable solo pictures during JS prom, so i never let this chance pass. My favorite part on this grand event was taking pictures! ha-ha  Below are my solo pictures taken from last week’s.

I needed to dye my hair this color  in order to suit on my long gown. It’s slowly growing on me though–very very slowly, I think this is the brightest and most daring color I’ve tried. Though i know (as a role model) we are not allowed to dye our hair from natural color, but i can’t help it. I love the contrast blond hair does to black gowns. I already had the presumption that everybody will be wearing black. And to look uniquely different to them, i didn’t had second thoughts on re-dying my crown.

A black ensemble seemed fitting with a few gold accents here and there to match the gold stitches on my gown.  I’m not pro-gold, nevertheless i like how the accessories and even my bag compliment my look. If you scroll down to the the closeup photo, you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Most of my pictures here are me sitting on the couches. They look so luxurious and sophisticated.

This party is oh-so-costly! I—–, known to be ‘thrifty’ would just shake my head on the bills i paid for this glamorous event. ha-ha-ha (from the preparations: hair treatment & hair dying, rent for the gown, fingers & feet cleaning, buying of various accessories, new set of make-ups, facial (omg), and the sandal that costs me over 2k! (jawdrop)

What an expensive month, December is! But—— i’ts all worth it! 🙂 ^_______^

    • Sorry for the late reply. You can rent gowns like this at the bridal shop at Rizal street near McDonald. (i forgot the name sorry). This one i’m wearing was from a common acquaintance. She has lots of long gowns but unfortunately she don’t own a rental shop.
