Unending Hectic Saturday: LITTLE BORACAY

I feel the need to write, and yet, I am not emotionally stable enough to actually form logical sentences within paragraphs! If you are anything like me then you probably find that the day has come and gone before you could squeeze in any must to do! My biggest issue is that I don’t deal well with
stress. I try to avoid it by keeping things simple, but sometimes the smallest things are so much for me to handle that I stress.

So, before the final weekend of July ends, I decided not to join our family reunion. The final reunion before the Brissonnete leave the country. I need time to regain my energy since i’d always been away from home for the past weekends. Need not to say, my weekdays are always filled up with public service. I was catching up on work and getting things ready for the end of the month and got it all done. However, i had a change of heart when my cousins dropped by our house. The invitation was so tempting i couldn’t resist. I was hesitant at first thinking my heaps of work to be done. Nonetheless i managed to paint the town red. ke ke ke 🙂

I know that July is over, but I thought I still might share some of our fun!

We (I, my sisters, my father, cousins & auncle) woke up so early. We travel at 3 in the morning going to Patin-ay, Agusan del Sur. It’s not yet our actual destination. It would be at Space Bar Resort located at
Cagwait, province of Tandag, Surigao del Sur. It’s less than 3 hour ride from Patin-ay, i think.

arrival at Patin-ay at 5am, with my cousin

Our destination! Cagwait White Beach Resort also known before as “Waikiki Beach” of the Philippines as called by famous pilot Charles Lindberg. It is known now as Boracay of Caraga. 🙂 (If you’re standing at the middle part of the shore, the beach formed letter C facing the sea.)

I’m more of an indoor type who doesn’t  love the beach so much. It’s hot, it’s sandy, and there doesn’t seem to be much to do. For some, going to the beach is as good as it gets. Lying on a blanket, soaking up the sun, and perhaps dipping a toe into the ocean. But seeing the view, oh, haha. The view plus the laughter & enjoyment from my family, it’s paradise!

This hectic Saturday, (the last Saturday of July) was the time to spend with relatives or friends we don’t get to see very often. So.. work, unfinished biz- set aside.

Here are some of my activities.

This was also a celebration for auntie Daday & uncle Claude’s wedding anniversary. Sealed with a kiss! Haha

The over night stay in this paradise showed how fun the people, our family & the Philippines is. IT’s MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES ika nga!

Before we go back to our own places we dropped by at Britannia, known for its breathtaking  small islands with white sands.

I’d been here for third time already. My first was when Britannia was still unknown to the public. I was 9 years old then.  It was also our family reunion! (U see, we’re so much family-oriented! ha ha ha)

Most of my relatives (late sister of my father’s mother and father’s cousins) live here in Britannia.

Okey, okey. I know this post is tooooooo dragging. But, i can’t help it! hahahaha

Saturdays could be hectic but the weekends were popular for a reason. Surely, i would not miss these for the world. I had a satisfying JULY! ^______^

Hectic Saturday Again: FUN with BRISSONNETE FAMILY

July has been a busy month. My weekends were fully booked. Rest days were cancelled.

If you’re able to read my recent posts about “Hectic Saturdays”, you will notice that this post is not up to date. Okey, as much as I want to touch my keyboard and share about my constant outings during weekends, ke ke I was too preoccupied with work I couldn’t even think of anything. I was restless and run out of energy. I was a walking zombie the whole week. My only outlet was locked myself in my room and brimmed myself with tears. You see, my emotions even faltered this past few days. Been rallied from moment of weakness. I was very tired and I don’t know what to do first for the forthcoming days.

Alright, so what happened on the third Saturday of July? Geee, the Brissonnete family came to visit my city. They dropped by at my workplace late afternoon on Friday. It was already dark when we decided to stroll the family around the city.
