DEAR NO ONE: This is your love song

BeFunky_10-December (12).jpg

I like being independent
Not so much of an investment
No one to tell me what to do
  I like being by myself
  Don’t gotta entertain anybody else
  No one to answer to
I don’t really like big crowds
I tend to shut people out
  I like my space, yeah
But I’d love to have a soul mate
God will give him to me someday
& I know it’ll be worth the wait
But sometimes, I just want somebody to hold
Someone to give me their jacket when its cold
Got that young love even when we’re old
Yeah sometimes, I want someone to grab my hand
Pick me up, pull me close, be my man
I will love you till the end
So if you’re out there I swear to be good to you
But I’m done lookin’, for my future someone
Cause when the time is right
You’ll be here, but for now
Dear no one, this is your love song

❤

That Winter The Wind Blows Finale

twtwb1

I am bewildered on the ending. Was it a happy ending or a sad one? My heart wants to believe they end up happily but my mind tells me otherwise.

I had read from a blog site that the ending was definitely real. It looked blurry because Young’s sight wasn’t perfect, but just enough for her to make things out. When Hee-Sun and Jin-Sung were talking about visiting Soo and bringing Lamb’s ear flowers, they were talking about real brother Soo; visiting the river where his ashes were spread. The blogger said, “If the ending wasn’t real then that was s a very elaborate dream with the cafe, waitress, the fact that Soo had been for 6 months.” The blogger don’t see how the ending could be just a dream.

From the flow of the story, my heart was already set for a sad ending.  From my point of view, as much as everyone looks at it as happy, after watching the ending scene again, i think ‘Oh Soo died 6 months before Young did. 😥 The conversation between Oh Soo’s friends talking about bringing him flowers every year with same flower that’s given to Young, just mean both Young & Oh Soo died. Oh Soo died after the stabbing incident. And for Young, the surgery may have been a success, it’s already foretold in earlier episodes that it’s inoperable. The white, fluffy, clear picture in the final episodes gives it like a ‘skip of scenery’ (heavenly look) effect.  😦

I think the writer & the directors were too scared to upset the viewers. Do you want it sad? Do you want it happy? So they go for the apparent policy of appeasement and try to do both. They left it to us viewers the huge challenge to decide whether the ending was happy or tragic. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I really like having to choose but making the end vague and hazy on purpose just screams, let the reader try to decipher, and choose whichever story he wishes to believe. I feel bad because i can’t seem to get my emotions straight. Should i be happy and giddy they ended up together? Or should i be heartbroken because the epilogue was just a dream and that both lovers actually died? But i guess, the writers/producers just can’t bear to break their viewers’ hearts.

Still, there are lots of questions left unanswered. And I don’t have the slightest plan to re-watch the whole thing (even though I like the story persi) I don’t wanna feel the same feeling of sadness & undergo the crying & sobbing while watching THAT WINTER THE WIND BLOWS. 😥 COL

Majo No Jouken

majo no joukenfirst love utada hikaro

It wasn’t an accident when i found this drama. It was fate that lead me see this. I am a teacher. A yuppie. Lately, I lost interest in the field and needs some motivation and inspiration. Since i’d watched BIG (where the lead actress was a teacher who fell in love with his student), i was inspired to watch another drama with the same plot. Call me crazy for adoring younger lad-older lass relationship especially teacher – student relationship, but i just can’t guard myself not to like it. I know this is quite controversial seeing that society hasn’t yet accepted “that” kind of affair, but who can blame me?? it’s ahm.. arhg. i just like-love it!

majo1

Majo No Jouken was a drama way back 1999. Maybe I was 10 or 11 years old when this was aired in Japan. God! i’m 20 something now. hahahahah I don’t find 80’s or 90’s movie or drama interesting, but Majo No Jouken is an exception. The age difference here is very evident ^^ but the chemistry between them was too strong i couldn’t even notice their height difference ^^ (Michi was a way taller than Hikaru).

majo6

The official soundtrack ‘First Love’ lead me to this. I fell in love with the song even i haven’t see the drama yet. I’ve been hearing and singing the song years ago but i only saw the drama just this year. Ow, that is why it was a big hit even in my country Philippines. Drama + lead actors + OST equals great!

majo3

Majo No Jouken as i was saying, was a  love between a student and a teacher. The story’s about Michi (Matsushima Nanako) a 26 year old Math teacher who seems to have a pretty satisfying life, when her boyfriend proposed to her, she accept it, though she is not quite sure if she’s ready.

majo7

One day, she accidentally meets a boy who almost knocks her down with his motorcycle driven by Hikaru (Takizawa Hideaki). In school she finds out he’s one of her students. A 17 year old Hikaru is a transferee on the school Michi teaches in and is said to be a delinquent. Michi has became Hikaru’s homeroom teacher, and as fate dictate, they started to understand each other, sharing almost the “same kind of sentiment”. The two of them soon discover that they have many things in common, such as the wish to be themselves without being forced to obey their parents’ will just for the sake of the public image. Michi and Hikaru fall in love, but, instead of being scared, they decide from the very first moment to fight for their feelings and for acceptance. And thus, this started the “bond” that has the world against them.

“I am a TEACHER, you’re a STUDENT”

~same lines I’ve read from Big, Biscuit Teacher & Star Candy, and this.. Majo no Jouken 🙂

P.S.  (do not worry, i’ll not be involve such kind of affair coz’ i’m handling kids. The young ones. :))

I Love It: BIG!

Since my doctor advised me to take a rest. Noo using of voice whatsoever. I left without a choice but to find something that will not dull me. Most of the time, what makes my day are talking loud, singing together with my downloaded fave songs or memorizing lyrics through youtube (yeah, facebooking and blogging is obvious —if you’re a constant follower) kekekkeeke. My routine often use my prey voice. Now, less use of vocal chords, more tedious.

So, watching drama online (which i missed long ago) will do. I’m currently in the middle of drooling myself with this big thing: k-drama “BIG”. Confuse???  i’m watching korean drama (again) entitled “Big”. I’m not half way of the episodes, but i need to push the pause button because i ca’nt stand the ‘kiligsssss‘ that run my veins while watching this show.

If you’re able to read my post about My First Kiss in a Holiday, this is something close to that.

“I am completely hook up with younger-lad-fallin’-in-to-elder-woman story. Just like ’30 Gum Lung Jaew’, Pintada, ‘Lettuce couple’ and many more. Indeed, “Age is only a matter of mind, i f you don’t mind it, i doesn’t matter” right? ke ke ke. ‘Maybe i was looking for younger man??? -nonchalantly asked to self. lmfao ha ha ha ^^v”

Okey, this korean drama is about 18-year-old guy whose spirit suddenly finds itself in the body of 30-year-old. That 30-year-old guy is engaged to high school teacher. The teacher just so happens to be the teacher of 18-year old.

It’s kinda complicated and very fictional. But what interests me was the lead actress is a young teacher here! (like me) kekeke. In relation to what i quoted above. It seems that this story will lead to a “younger-lad-fallin’-in-to-elder-woman” story.

I don’t know. I’m so into age-does-not matter love story. (not that i’ve been or i in current situation.. hahahhaha) Korean, never run out of out-of this-world plot. Speaking of,, i need to rush back and continue watching BIG!

To give you more detail about the BIG thing, here’s a synopsis. You might get interested like me! Hahahahahaah “POING, POING” ^____________^

18-year-old Kang Gyung-Joon’s  spirit suddenly finds itself in the body of 30-year-old Seo Yoon Jae  . Seo-Yon-Jae is a successful doctor and engaged to high school teacher Gil Da-Ran. Gil Da-Ran just so happens to be the teacher of 18-year old Kang Gyung-Joon. More problems ensue when 30-year-old Seo Yoon Jae falls in love with another woman.

…..

Da-Ran, currently preparing to take for her teacher’s exam, goes to a wedding hall to deliver a bouquet. When she hands over the bouquet Da-Ran discovers the bride is a friend of hers. Da-Ran also makes the uncomfortable realization that she wasn’t invited to her friend’s wedding. She stays at the wedding and gives money to the couple as a wedding gift. Da-Ran then eats lunch at the wedding alone. She then receives a phone call that the bouquet was delivered to the wrong bride and she needs to get it back. Da-Ran attempts to catch the bouquet at the end of the wedding, but bumps into a man named Yoon-Jae. Due to the bump, Da-Ran falls down the stairs and is hospitalized. As fate has it, her doctor at the hospital is Yoon-Jae, the man she bumped into at the wedding. Their relationship develops into a romantic relationship and one month later they plan to get married.

Now, Da-Ran works as a temporary teacher at a high school, while preparing for her exam to become a teacher. When she goes to work on the bus, she listens to her own story that she wrote in to the radio station. Da-Ran gets off the bus and a young man Gyung-Joon gets off at the same bus stop. Da-Ran mistakenly believes the young man likes her. It turns out that Da-Ran took his umbrella on the bus and Gyung-Joon is a student at the high school where she works. High school student Gyung-Joon lived in the United States with his mother, but after his mother died came back to South Korea.

Da-Ran’s wedding approaches and she is excited, but Yoon-Jae acts differently. Yoon-Jae seems to be avoiding Da-Ran. On the day they are to look for a new home, Yoon-Jae calls that he can’t make it and Da-Ran bursts into tears. She asks if Yoon-Jae really loves her or just feels responsible for her and then hangs up. She doesn’t know what to do. Then, her student Gyung-Joon sees her and takes her on a ride on his motorcycle. They go out to a lake, outside of Seoul. While looking at the water, Yoon-Jae calls Da-Ran and tells her that he will give her the answer to her question. Meanwhile, Gyung-Joon gets back on his motorcycle and leaves.

Yoon-Jae drives out to meet Da-Ran by the lake. Meanwhile, Gyung-Joon is leaving the area on his motorcycle. As the two approach each other, an accident occurs in front of them. They both try to avoid the car crash and both drive into the water.

As Yoon-Jae’s car sinks deeper into the water, he manages to get out of the car, but sees high school student Gyung-Joon sinking past him. Yoon-Jae grabs him and goes back up to the surface.

At the hospital, Yoon-Jae is declared dead. Da-Ran rushes to the hospital and cries in front of the hospital mortuary. Then, Yoon-Jae suddenly wakes up. When he sees himself in the mirror he is shocked. He has Yoon-Jae’s body, but his mind is that of high school student Gyung-Joon. He walks out of the mortuary and sees Da-Ran crying in the hallway. Da-Ran is so happy to see Yoon-Jae alive, but he insists that he is Gyung-Joon. Gyung-Joon then wonders where his body is and finds that his body is unconscious and in the hospital. Gyung-Joon starts to panic and walks out of the hospital.

Da-Ran finds out Gyung-Joon’s address and goes there. She finds Yoon-Jae’s body laying down in the high school student’s bed. She realizes that Gyun-Joon’s mind is indeed in the body of her fiance Yoon-Jae.

My FIRST KISS in a Holiday

Coming back from busy July sched, no matter how fun it was, it was exhausting on the body and mind. I was looking forward for a break. You know, there needs to be an additional period of rest before resuming one’s regular schedule. Resisting the urge to get back into the swing of things can be difficult. Distractions at home and work can be hard to ignore. So, one day rest would be fine i guess. But i wasn’t expecting my silent prayers would be answered, thank heavens.. i have 4day long weekend! (well everybody does because of holidays). kekeke

August is good to me! So, how would i spend my holidays? I overslept already (and dang! my head aches). I finished reading my novels. I went to the cenima yesterday. I washed the clothes already. I uploaded the pictures from recent events. Go out with friends, maybe? Nah, their busy.

So, watching movie online is another option. Okey, i have searched some romantic thai movie. And speaking of romantic-comedy/’kilig’ movies’, thai is highly recommended. Oops- i’m still loyal to korean movies. lol. Koreans are good in dramas actually. New, bizarre, different, tear-jerker concept of drama- no doubt from Korea. Ahem. Okey, so as i was saying, this thai movie entitled: Rak Sud Tai Pai Na (First Kiss) caught my interest.

It’s about a 25 year old woman and a high school boy accidentally share a kiss on a bus. He then becomes infatuated by her even though she ignores his advances. Things hot up when her first love re-enters her life. This encourages the high school boy to try even harder to win her heart.

I am completely hook up with younger-lad-fallin’-in-to-elder-woman story. -lmfao

Regardless with the plot, what instilled in me was the lead actress intro from this movie:
“Love is like waiting for a bus. The one that arrives isn’t the one you expected. And when the one you expected arrives, there will be obstacles blocking the way to get on it. This happens all the time.

Ouchy, those lines hit me to the core! 😦

I need to finish watchin’ this movie. Now na! (i’m still on the first part) TTYL guys.
