Bangkok’s Street Feast

One of the things i like and will not forget about my travel in Bangkok was the feast in their streets. Everywhere you look while walking around the city, you’ll be tempted by something delicious.

Some places are pop-up food stalls that move around on trolleys, while others are more or less permanent, serving fresh and tasty Thai food at small tables on the street pavement. You can get anything from a snack to eat while you’re walking down the sidewalk, to an entire sit down meal feast on the streets.

Having our delicious b-fast at the stairs on the streets

No need to look for fine dining resto to fill your empty stomach. Buying and eating 10 Baht worth of pork barbecue and one order of sticky rice can already satisfy your hunger.

Not only the food is tasty, it’s super cheap and convenient! You can usually have a feast for under 150 Baht! One of our breakfast was 130 Baht good for three people already! Less the long wait when you order in fast food.

Aside from the delicious taste and affordable price of the Bangkok street foods, what i appreciate is their clean way of making and cooking. A simple vendor could be seen wearing hairnet or face mask or apron. Black soot on grilled foods are taken away before display. Juices are freshly squeezed from the fruits. No magic sugar added for sure.

For only 10 Baht each

Now that i’m back in PH, i can’t stop myself from comparing whenever i’m buying foods on stalls or streets.

These are my faves!

Thai street food is one of the ultimate joys of being in Bangkok!
